Configuration: The PGLA fiber is wound on tubes. The minimum quantity of fiber per tube could vary (100 grams per tube is preferred). Each wound tube is wrapped in plastic foil and packaged with a desiccant pouch inside a sealed, moisture barrier foil pouch.
Please note: Teleflex Medical OEM uses in-house PGLA resin that conforms to the requirements of ASTM F2313 for this yarn product. Spin lubricants are BSL (Bondek Spin Lube) or WWSL (Water Washable Spin Lube). BSL has a proprietary formulation that can be washed off with hexane or toluene. WWSL formulation is available to customers on request. It can be washed off with acetone, ethyl alcohol, or water.
