Teleflex Medical OEM, represented in the marketplace by the KMedic® brand, is a business unit of Teleflex Incorporated that provides standard and custom orthopedic and spinal surgical instruments.
Teleflex Medical OEM combined the strengths of its KMedic® and Beere Medical® brands to deliver unique solutions for instrument design, development, and manufacturing. By combining the precision of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining with the strength and durability of proven forging techniques, our surgical instruments give the physician both the right “feel” and ergonomics for superior action and maximum effectiveness.
On the surface, it is difficult to tell one instrument from another. However, in fact, many qualities distinguish KMedic® surgical instruments from those of other manufacturers. Our instruments are the product of the surgeon's art, exacting manufacturing specifications, and strict adherence to our quality assurance program. From its origins as an idea, to constructing the prototype, to its appearance on a surgical tray, it takes approximately 80 steps to create a KMedic® instrument.
