ContrasPoint Black Needle Characteristics:

ContrasPoint™ Black Needles are engineered to enhance precision, visibility, and control in demanding surgical environments. Manufactured from 302 stainless steel with a proprietary black finish, the needle is designed to increase contrast against tissue and blood while minimizing glare under surgical lighting. In surgeon evaluations, users reported reduced reflectivity compared to standard metallic needles, supporting improved depth perception and visual clarity during critical procedural steps. Featuring a precision taper point and compatibility with a broad range of Teleflex Medical OEM sutures, including the Force Fiber™ UHMWPE portfolio, polyester, polypropylene, and absorbable options, ContrasPoint™ Black Needles are built to deliver reliable strength performance while seamlessly integrating into advanced surgical workflows.
